Microsoft Information Protection (MIP) is a Microsoft rights management solution. Users of Azure Information Protection and other Microsoft Information Protection solutions can use Adobe Reader/ Adobe Acrobat to read labeled and protected content.
In Adobe Acrobat XI Pro Software on the menu bar open Help About Adobe Plugins. A list of installed and/or available plugins for the program are displayed and marked certified. However, several of the plugins listed are also listed as not installed. By clicking the Download now button, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to the Adobe Software Licensing Agreement.
To view a MIP protected file in Acrobat Reader DC / Acrobat DC, install the latest version of Acrobat Reader DC / Acrobat DC and then install the corresponding plug-in using the download link in the table below.
Note:
Only Acrobat DC Continuous and Acrobat Reader DC Continuous support the MIP plug-in.
To download the plug-in, click the appropriate download link below. After the download is complete, double-click the installer to begin the installation.
